Get to know Olga: 21 questions

I enjoyed reading everyone's 21 Q&As, so here are mine:

1. Are you named after anyone?

Yes. My great aunt, my grandmother’s sister was Olga. She was a heroine of French resistance, killed by Gestapo in 1944, long before I was born. There is a monument to their resistance cell, with all the names inscribed on it (all killed), somewhere in France. Her name was Olga Bancic.

There is a wikipedia post about her: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olga_Bancic

A couple years ago, I also wrote an article about her for my newspaper: http://www.jewishindependent.ca/oldsite/archives/april13/archives13april05-05.html
