Book art - Edwin Henry Landseer
Edwin Henry Landseer (1802-1873) was an English painter. He was well known for his paintings of animals, particularly horses, dogs and stags. Here is his charming reading girl. She obviously likes reading: there are at least 3 books in her lap.
However, his best known works are the lion sculptures in Trafalgar Square.
